Goa-ing Crazy!

GOA HERE I COME!

Today I am going to be talking about my trip to Goa:

November 25th - This was the start of our vacation - it started with a train journey.

November 26th - We arrived at Margaon Staion (here is how you pronounce the word  MUD-GOW). We then caught another train to Tivam, a taxi ride from there to Vagator - Bethay INN. We had breakfast at Mango Tree (it was disappointing!).

November 27th -The next morning we had breakfast at a new place called Jaws. It was delicious. We brought snacks from Jaws to the beach. Cade and Dad went parasailing. I built sandcastles and Mum and I climbed a steep slippery big rock on the beach. This was the day I invented my new word -Swalking (Swimming + Walking)

November 28th - We got up early and were driven to Candolim boat jetty and caught a boat to Monkey Island. On the way we saw a pod of dolphins, went snorkeling and had a barbecue lunch on the island. On the island we met a group of people from Arabia. One of them challenged me to a race with some other contestants. They were adults and I was just a little kid... I lost the race but I won a hundred rupees. So I feel I still won!

November 29th - We got up early and climbed a steep hill to Chapora Fort. There were towers, the entrance was like a cell door and one could have seen enemies attacking. We had dinner at Souza Lobo and went to Mackies Saturday Night Bazaar. At the bazaar, I bargained with a man who was selling quartz. He wanted 600 rupees (that was all of my pocket money) and I offered a hundred. He said no, so I walked away, then he called out '400 Boss!' ... I shook my head... then he called out '300 Boss!'.. I just kept walking .... then he shouted out '200 Boss' and I said only 100. He said 'Ok boss!'. I bought the quartz and gave it to Cade as his birthday present, because he loves rocks and wants to become a geologist.

November 30th -

We went to St. Francis Xavier's church and some other churches. It was a very tiring day and I nearly fell asleep on the bike

December 1st -

Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee! Yipee!!

It was Cade's birthday. We had a surprise cake for Cade at Jaws. Then we went to Morjim beach and ended it with the Goa vs. Northeast football aka soccer match at night. It was AMAZING! Goa won and they deserved it!

Football Fans!

December 2nd - We went to small Vagator beach and spent the whole day there. I went bogey boarding with mum and dad. Cade had a ear infection and had to stay out of the water for that day :(

December 3rd - We learned how to surf. That was so cool! It was very difficult. Our instructor was from Sweden. He has been practising to surf for a year and he's still a beginner. I only managed to balance with my hands the board. Cade did better ... he was able to balance on his knees. We went bogey boarding, boxing, trampolining (my new word), played beach volley ball and Dad and Cade played with the frisbee.

December 4th - We had another wonderful day at the beach. This was our last day of the vacation :(

December 5th - We ate breakfast at Jaws. I said bye to Kayden  and Mel who I met in Goa and played with. We then took a cab to Margaon station and started our train journey back home to Bangalore.

Thank you for reading my blog. GOA -D - Bye!

Fun Day - Halloween

Hi, my name is Seth. I am seven years old and today I'm going to share with you what I did on Halloween. Halloween falls on October31st.

Jack-o-Lantern
I invited two friends - Raghav and Samudra to my little Halloween party. Dad and Mum bought a pumpkin in the morning. Dad drew faint lines on the pumpkin to divide it into 4  parts. Then one at a time we drew a scary face on the pumpkin. Dad, Mum and Aunty Sangeetha cut out the faces we drew, and then we had the scariest Jack-o-Lantern I've ever seen. We had scooped out all the pumpkin threads and seeds from the center and put in a candle and lit it.

The Other Face
We invented a game called 'Super Human Zombies'. We danced to Michael Jackson, Nickelback, Iron Maiden, Gummy Bear, Jerry Lewis, Crazy Frog and others. Dinner was ordered from Chungwa and we ate Chinese. We  taught Raghav and Samudra how to eat with chopsticks. Then we had strawberry cupcakes with jelly beans and chocolate pudding and jelly.

Raghav stayed back for a sleep over and we watched two movies - 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Paranorman'. It was a scary, rainy, zombie-fying night.
